Sabri Tekir, Deputy Chairman of Saadet Party, made important evaluations on the agenda at the press conference he held. Starting his statement by wishing mercy to the soldiers who were martyred in the border regions recently, Tekir expressed his condolences to their families and to all of Turkey.

Underlining that the government should inform the opposition regarding counter-terrorism operations, Tekir noted that no concessions can be made from the fight against terrorism.

“ENMITY OF REFUGEES TURNS INTO VIOLENCE”

Inviting the society and the state to be sensitive and careful about anti-refugee, Tekir emphasized that a wave of racist and unwanted hatred, especially in social media, has now turned into violence. Tekir said that the immigration wave that our country has been exposed to and the policies that prioritize the government's lack of control on this issue are the most important issue for Turkey, but noted that the solution to this is not to create a wave of hatred towards all refugees.

“AK PARTY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR INCREASING COSTS”

Reminding that the citizens have been experiencing rising inflation and the resulting deepening of livelihoods lately, Tekir continued his speech as follows:

"It should be known that; The AK Party government, which cannot produce healthy, reliable and promising policies for the future, is the main responsible for increasing cost, unemployment, increase in housing prices and uncontrolled migration. This is where the account should be asked! The President, who only watches the events, develops and even changes his discourse according to the public's reaction, will now take a determined stance that will bring a solution to the problem, and will prevent bigger and more painful events from happening. It should be noted that; A spark can be enough reason to start a fire that will last for days!"

RTÜK BECOME THE APPARATUS OF THE POWER

Recalling that the Supreme Board of Radio and Television (RTÜK) fined 4 television channels that broadcast Kılıçdaroğlu's statements on his social media account.

"These penalties can be considered as steps to suppress the voice and breath of the opposition. Freedom of information and information is a fundamental right. Whatever it is, it must be protected. With this sentence, RTÜĶ assumed the role of apparatus for the government's pressure on the media. This is a wrong attitude that will backfire over time," Tekir added.

“THE COST OF POWER TO TURKEY IS INCREASING EVERY DAY”

Saying that there are 6 months left for the new year, Tekir said following words:

"We look at the big sentences about the 2023 targets, and we look at the situation in our country today; Unfortunately, there is a huge difference between them. We are paying very important economic costs due to the worsening living conditions day by day as a result of the incomprehensible and even increasingly chaotic policies of the government. People are having a hard time finding a house to lay their heads on. Among the cities with the highest increase in housing prices in the world in 2021, Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir are in the first three places. The 'housing loan policy' presented by the government with great value appeals only to the wealthy. Our people have become inaccessible to basic foodstuffs. If quotas are placed on products in the markets and alarms are set on even liters of milk, go now and guess the rest. The pro-media, which tries to portray the 7-8% inflation rates in Germany and the United States as a disaster, ignore the 70 percent inflation rate in our country and other worsening economic and financial indicators. Among the G20 countries, we are one of the countries where food prices increased the most in the first three months of the year. Irrational models such as rising inflation and Currency Protected Deposits are dragging our country into endless dangerous channels. On the one hand, income inequality deepens with each passing day and leads to a social explosion, on the other hand, the interest burden in the country's domestic debt stock has exceeded the amount of the principal."
