Saadet Party Deputy Abdulkadir Karaduman, regarding the exorbitant increase in vehicle inspection fees at the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), said, “These exorbitant vehicle inspection fees taken from our people without tightening a bolt are almost like a robbery. This robbery must be stopped as soon as possible.”
Saadet Party Konya Deputy and Youth Branch Chairman Abdulkadir Karaduman brought the exorbitant increase in vehicle inspection fees to the agenda of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). Speaking at the general assembly, Karaduman said, “We are living in a period where our people have difficulties in meeting their basic needs and they cannot even get into their vehicles due to the price hikes in fuel.”
“AS A ROBBERY”
Reminding the hikes in vehicle inspection fees, Karaduman said, “At the same time, in the new year, vehicle inspection fees have been increased from 507 Turkish Liras (TL) to 1,130 TL in automobiles, from 685 TL to 1,528 TL in large vehicle inspections, and from 258 TL to 575 TL in tractor and motorized bicycle inspections. On what reason and logic is this exorbitant fee charged for this process taking only fifteen-twenty minutes long based? These exorbitant vehicle inspection fees taken from our people without tightening a bolt are almost like a robbery. This robbery must be stopped as soon as possible.”
