Saadet Party Sakarya Provincial Presidency preferred Muhammet Ekşioğlu for Erenler mayor candidacy.
As a result of the trend polls conducted within the Felicity Party Erenler Organization, it was seen that Mehmet Ekşioğlu, the Saadet Party Erenler District Chairman, was in the lead.
Ekşioğlu was announced as the Erenler District Mayor by the Saadet Party Sakarya Provincial Directorate.

Muhammet Ekşioğlu, whose candidacy for Saadet Party Sakarya Erenler district mayor was announced.
"We have worked at various levels for years, since the youth branches, under the umbrella of the Saadet Party, the sole representative of Milli Görüş Movement. With God's permission, we shoulder this sacred duty. On March 31, 2024, we will bring the Saadet Party to power in our Erenler district. Erenler will say hello again to Milli Görüş municipality and services in 1994. For this reason, I hereby announce to all the people of the district that we are ready for the local elections at every level," he said.
