Felicity (Saadet) Party Balıkesir Edremit District Presidency 7th Ordinary Congress was held with enthusiasm and intense crowd.

“IT CANNOT BE MENTIONED THAT THE ECONOMY IS WELL MANAGED”

Speaking at the congress, Mustafa Kaya, Deputy Chairman of Saadet Party, "There are those who still see the extraordinary developments in the economy as a dream. There are those who hope that we will sleep and wake up and all this will pass. No it's not. If the dollar loses or gains 40 percent in value within hours in a country, it cannot be said that there is stability in that country and that the economy is well managed. Those who cling to 'Nas' (Islamic Teachings) so that the model, which is difficult to even name, works is nothing but raising interest rates. Higher interest rates mean higher cost of living and new debts. The reason for the livelihood and unemployment that most of our nation is experiencing stems from this mistake. If this continues, our problems will increase. Millions of our youth are unemployed. Our agriculture, our livestock is dying! We have become heavily dependent on foreign food. However, food is a safety issue," he said.

“THEY ALWAYS MADE MISTAKES IN FOREIGN POLICY”

"Those who have been in government for 20 years have always made mistakes in foreign policy. Today our borders are under threat. Our islands in the Aegean Sea are under threat. Cyprus is under threat. Even the Syrian issue alone shows how wrong we are. When we got up one morning; We see that we are neighbors with the PKK, PYD and DAESH. Because we have a 910 km border with Syria… As Turkey, we are unable to lead the way in solving the problem. What are the US, France and others doing in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Libya? If Saadet had been in power in Turkey, would millions of people have died in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, would they have been displaced?" he added.
