Saadet Party will distribute exactly 1 million heirloom to the citizens in order to draw attention to the importance of ancestral seeds, to contribute to their transfer to future generations and to increase their use. With the heirloom sharing campaign, 27 seed varieties from tomatoes to peppers, pumpkins to okra, melons to watermelons will be delivered free of charge to citizens who demand. Saadet Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Ömer Faruk Yazıcı stated that they organized an heirloom sharing campaign as an awareness work within the Istanbul Provincial Presidency, and said, “With this work, we will cooperate with you, our sensitive and responsible citizens, in order to leave the soil, environment and nature to the next generations better than we found them. We want to take a step forward.”
