Speaking in the "Remembrance and Understanding of Erbakan" program in Konya, Felicity (Saadet) Party General Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu emphasized that the foundation of the Islamic Union was laid with the Jerusalem Meeting held in Konya before the 1980 coup.
Karamollaoğlu said, "We are the National Opinionists. We will never give up on our case. We are the testator of Erbakan Hodja".

Karamollaoğlu, who started his speech by explaining the importance of Konya in the National Opinion Movement, said: "When we look at Erbakan Hodja, we should get his ideas and thoughts similarly. I met Erbakan Hodja in 1967. He was at the Union of Chambers at the time. He saw that the country's problems could not be solved without stepping into politics. He received enough votes to release 3 deputies in Konya."

Describing the political life struggle of the National Vision Leader Necmettin Erbakan, Karamollaoğlu continued: "They closed our National Order Party. MSP was established and we entered Parliament with 43 deputies. Erbakan Hodja had a personality that could meet with everyone. Following the 1973 elections, a coalition was established in 1974 with Bülent Ecevit of CHP. Be sure; Turkey's government was not established until a ruling that paved the way. That period was very serious moves in Turkey. At that time, arrangements were made for imam hatips from the spiritual point of view. Heavy industry moves were launched to establish 40 large factories. And the Cyprus Victory was made at that time. Now, the factories built at that time were closed or sold."
