Few days before the election, while the busy schedules of the politicians continued, the Chairman of the Saadet Party Temel Karamollaoğlu also participated in a series of programs in Kocaeli.
Karamollaoğlu attended the opening of the Nation Alliance Izmit Presidential Election Coordination Center (SKM) Office in Kocaeli, and then addressed the party members at the "Kocaeli Meeting".
Karamollaoğlu emphasized the importance of the election to be held on May 14 in both programs.
"We are going to an election, not a war. With the election, how the country will be governed will be decided," Karamollaoğlu said.
“OUR CASE IS NOT THE OFFICE, IT'S THE HAPPY PEOPLE”
Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu addressed the citizens in his speech at the opening of the Nation Alliance Izmit Presidential Election Coordination Center (SKM) Office in Kocaeli.
Emphasizing that the election to be held on May 14 is important for our country, Karamollaoğlu spoke as follows:
"On the way to this election, we came together as the chairman of 6 political parties with different views. We have determined how we will work on everything. Our election work is complete. We are going to the elections in peace. I consider it my duty to express this. Do not trust the doubters when you go to this election. Our nation doesn't respect it anyway. This election will be the choice of our country to get rid of troubles. Our concern is not to come to a position, but our concern is that the people living in this country become more happy."
“YOU WILL PUNCH THEM IN HEAD IN THE ELECTION”
Addressing the party members in the "Kocaeli Meeting" program, Karamollaoğlu stated that the program was held in the halls of the SEKA Factory and drew attention to the factories sold by the government.
"SEKA is an important facility. It's making a profit. This factory has served our nation for many years. Then this factory was closed step by step. We started to import papers. We close sugar factories and import sugar. We close tobacco factories and import cigarettes. We ask God to give you wisdom. Either we have to punch them in the head so they can come to their senses, or we have to pray. We prefer to pray. But if Allah wills, you will hit their head with your fist at the ballot box in the elections to be held on May 14th," Karamollaoğlu added.
“MONEY THAT DOESN'T GO IN OUR PEOPLE'S POCKETS GOES INTO FEW PEOPLE'S POCKETS”
Drawing attention to the movements that took place before the elections, Karamollaoğlu emphasized that an election will be held on May 14.
"We are going to an election, not a war. With the election, how the country will be governed will be decided. The AK Party government has been ruling the country for 21 years. The AK Party does not rule the government, in fact, what we call the AK Party government is actually governed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Unfortunately, in the beginning, we had nothing left to sell because everything we had accumulated in our hands was sold. Now we are out of need. We outsource most of our needs. Our people cannot make a living. We have millions of people earning wages below the poverty line. There are workers, there are retired people, there are tradesmen and unfortunately there is a great chaos in our country, there is robbery at the same time. The money that does not go into the pockets of our people who can barely make a living is unfortunately transferred to the pockets of a handful of people. There's no way this thing can go on like this. Our people have reached the end of their tolerance," Karamollaoğlu said.
“SURVEYS SHOW THAT THE ELECTION WILL BE CLAIMED IN THE FIRST ROUND”
Pointing out that there will be a victory after the elections, Karamollaoğlu reminded the statements of President Erdoğan about himself.
"The election will be held on May 14. The polls show that this election will be finalized in the first round, both the presidency will be won and the majority of the parliamentary deputies will be provided. However, I have known Mr. Tayyip for many years. Although sometimes when he was talking about me, he was outside when we were in politics. I said, well, when I entered politics, Mr. Erdogan was wearing short pants and was studying at school. He was born in 56, I came to Turkey in 67, and a few months later I got to know Erbakan Hodja. I have always been together both during the Union of Chambers and the Independent Movement period. Mr. Tayyip was 13 years old at that time," Karamollaoğlu stated.
“PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM TENSED TO SINGLE MAN”
Expressing that there are problems in the presidential system, Karamollaoğlu emphasized that the applied system harms Turkey.
"We have stated that the presidential system will harm the country, and that it will tend to a dictatorship system. For this reason, we especially emphasized that a system called the presidential system should not be accepted in Turkey. At this point, we see how right we were. The presidential system has tended towards dictatorship, just as we have stated. Today, the Parliament cannot direct the power in Turkey. It cannot pass a law, it cannot even negotiate the budget. If they do not come to terms with the President, the President puts the previous year's budget figures into practice. Such a system does not exist anywhere in the world. This is a deception, it is shown as if there is democracy, there are elections as well, but in practice it is a direct one-man system. We are against it, we came together for it," Karamollaoğlu said.
