Saadet Party Malatya Provincial Presidency held its monthly council meeting with a large participation, accompanied by a picnic. The council meeting, which was held under the leadership of the Saadet Party Malatya Provincial President Mustafa Canbay, was met with great interest by local press members. Many members of the organization participated in the meeting, where the problems of the country were discussed and the agenda studies were presented as reports. Addressing the members of the organization at the Council meeting, Mustafa Canbay made evaluations on economic problems.
“THE LAND OF ANATOLIA IS THE CENTER OF PEACE, LOVE AND BROTHERHOOD”
Making statements about the Manziker Victory and the August 30 Victory Day, the Saadet Party Malatya Provincial Chairman Mustafa Canbay said, “The last days of August have turning points in our history. First; It is the glorious Victory of Manzikert, which was written in golden letters in history, which made Anatolia the homeland of our beloved nation. Since 1071, Anatolian lands have been the center of peace, love and brotherhood. The second is; It is the glorious beginning of the Great Offensive that will end with the August 30 Victory. After the preparations, an attack was started on August 26, 1922 in order to completely remove the enemy army from the homeland, and our soldiers wrote a new epic. We will continue to walk with determination on this road that we set out to solve all the problems of our country 53 years ago and to reinforce the hope of our people day by day.”
“THEY LOWER THE VOICES OF THOSE WHO RAISE THEIR VOICES”
Mustafa Canbay stated that the government's statement ‘We are all in the same boat’ is just a fallacy, "Our route is clear; It is the achievement of our 85 million people together towards a better tomorrow. While we continue on our way with determination, some people are trying to make the fate of their party equal with the fate of Turkey. ‘We are all in the same boat,’ they say. However, the following movie line is the best answer to these words: 'The sea is over, the ship has stopped. A stopped ship is no longer a ship.' We're all in the same boat, it's true. But while someone in the house of lords watch the moonlight with their partners in power, a large part of our nation is trying to make their voices heard on the lower floors of the ship. But they never succeed. Moreover, they lower the voices of those who raise their voices. We will take the helm and put this ship on a safe and sound course, despite the just reactions and all this nonsense trying to silence us. What caused this ship to take on water; We will put an end to injustice, waste and corruption, lack of production and unemployment, the understanding that I did it and the social polarization, and we will repair these holes one by one and permanently," he added.
“INCREASE IN RATES OVER 100 PERCENT”
Noting the price increases in stationery products, Mustafa Canbay said, “Schools are opening, parents are in a hurry for school expenses. Stationery and school supplies that do not increase in price are almost none. Increases of more than 100 percent in products such as pencils, erasers and paints is observed. Last September, 80-page notebooks at the 4-5 Turkish Liras (TL) level went on sale for 19,90 TL. Considering the need for at least 7-8 notebooks for each student, the amount that a parent with 2 children should pay for only the notebook is 320 TL. The number of pencils has increased from 1 TL to 2,5 TL. The price of the set of 4 red pencils, which was 5 TL in the ‘Back to School 39 catalogs’ published in September last year, increased to 10 TL this year. While the same brand of 12 watercolors was sold at a price of 19,90 TL last year, it went on sale with a label of 29,99 TL this year. It is expected that the service fees will increase up to 50 percent.”
"IT HAPPENS WITH YOU"
Stating that the economic problems experienced can be overcome under the Saadet Party government, "Despite all the negativity, we say 'Saadet Solves'. What we say, we say 'It happens with you'. As I end my speech with these feelings, I would like to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for your participation, I wish this meeting to be useful for goodness. Victory belongs to those who believe and victory is near,” Mustafa Canbay added.
