“EVEN CITIZEN'S MONEY IS NOT ENOUGH FOR SIMIT”

During the visits led by Şerafettin Kılıç, the problems of the citizens were heard. “Turkey's economy is not well managed. Our citizens are experiencing serious financial difficulties. If a family of 4 were fed only tea and bagels for 3 meals a day, the monthly cost would be 9,000 Turkish Liras (TL). The minimum wage is 8,500 TL. The minimum wage is not even enough for the citizen's bagel money,” Kılıç said.

Saadet Party listened to the problems of citizens by visiting local press, mayors, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chamber of Agriculture, headmen, Non Governmental Organization (NGO) representatives, patients and tradesmen in Hatay. Saadet Party Deputy Chairman Şerafettin Kılıç, Saadet Party General Administrative Board (GİK) members, Çelebi Keyhidir, Assoc. Dr. Necmettin Çalışkan, Soner Çontar, Necati Eroğlu, Hayri Kamalı, Hatay Provincial President Mustafa Ege and the delegation, consisting of members of the district organization, met with the great favor of the people of Hatay. Saadet Party members who distribute carnations, bagels and ayran to the citizens, talked about the projects of Milli Gorus and the Six Opposition Parties. Making a press statement after the visit, Şerafettin Kılıç made assessments about the country's problems.

“MONTHLY COST IS 9,000 TL”

Saadet Party Deputy Chairman Şerafettin Kılıç, who defended that the Six Opposition Parties would save Turkey from all the troubles it was in, stated that the citizens were in a big impasse, especially in economic terms, and said, “Turkey's economy is not well managed. Our citizens are experiencing serious financial difficulties. If a family of 4 were fed only tea and bagels for 3 meals a day, the monthly cost would be 9,000 TL. The minimum wage is 8,500 TL. The minimum wage is not even enough for the citizen's bagel money. There is no production, support is insufficient. Our producers work for a year and grow products, but the purchase prices do not even cover the cost. The farmer considers the costs, inputs and expenses, day and night. The establishment of justice was our most important issue, but today justice is sought with a candle. We believe that we are the hope of all problems. The Six Opposition Parties’ table is the nation's table set up by parties that want to stop this trend and change this system.”
