Kaya stated that Greece is in a systematic imposition towards the Turkish minority in the region.

"The fact that the same Greece, while closing primary schools, does not take into account the demands for new schools regarding secondary schools, shows that the reason for the absence of students is malicious," Kaya said.

Reactions to Greece's decision to close 12 primary schools belonging to the Western Thrace Turkish minority are uncontrollable. With the scandalous decision, the number of Turkish-Muslim minority schools across the country was reduced from 115 to 103. Reacting to the scandalous decision in question, Saadet Party Deputy Chairman Mustafa Kaya pointed out that Greece continues to unlawfully dispose of a fundamental right of Western Thrace Turks, such as education.

"WE WILL STAND AGAINST INJUSTICES"

Kaya stated that Greece is in a systematic imposition towards the Turkish minority in the region.

"The fact that the same Greece, while closing primary schools, does not take into account the demands for new schools regarding secondary schools, shows that the reason for the absence of students is malicious. In addition, Greece's excluding minority schools from the scope of some articles by depriving them of the rights given to other schools is an attempt to form a basis for future blocking decisions. We condemn this decision taken by Greece, and we will continue to stand against the injustices and unlawfulness suffered by the Turks of Western Thrace, as we did before," he added.
