After the statements of Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu were distorted by some circles, a statement came from the Saadet Party.
Birol Aydın, Spokesperson of the Felicity (Saadet) Party, clarified the misunderstandings in his statement.
Aydın underlined that Karamollaoğlu's statements were persistently distorted by some circles.
"First of all, these statements were not made within the framework of an interview, as is understood by the public. Mr. Mustafa Balbay paid a visit to our headquarters at the weekend and had a long conversation with our President. As can be understood from the language of the text published in Cumhuriyet Newspaper, Mr. Balbay wrote down his impressions from this conversation," he said.
“THERE IS NO APPLICATION LIKE THE CLOSURE OF THE WELFARE PARTY”
Aydın said, "First of all, no application has been made for the closure of the Welfare (Refah) Party Again" and continued as follows:
"Everyone knows that this is not legally possible. The point our Chairman stated is the ongoing court processes regarding the unfair and unlawful evacuation of the building that we have used for years and is now used as the headquarters of the Re-Welfare Party," Aydin said.
Saying that they were astonished at what President Advisor Mehmet Uçum shared, Aydın said, "In the aforementioned process, such a visit request was communicated to us and then this meeting was held. As our Chairman also stated, in the same process, Mr. Mustafa Şentop made a similar visit to our party. We are not going to get into a meaningless discussion as to whether this conversation lasted two hours or four hours. We have repeatedly stated that we are not against the 'Presidential System' altogether, but that we oppose such an uncontrollable system and the reasons for our opposition, both in this meeting and in front of the public."

Aydın ended his statements as follows:
