Saadet Party supports the headscarf proposal!

Saadet Party Konya Deputy Abdulkadir Karaduman supported the constitutional amendment proposal regarding the headscarf and family, which was submitted to the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).

Saadet Party Konya Deputy and Head of Youth Branch Abdulkadir Karaduman signed the text of the Constitutional amendment proposal submitted to the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on the provision of the Justice and Development Party (AKP)'s headscarf and family unity. 

“I AGREE TO THE PROPOSAL FOR HEADSCARF AND FAMILY ARRANGEMENT” 

A series of amendments, including the headscarf and family unity, are proposed in the Law Amending Articles 24 and 41 of the Constitution, prepared by the AKP group and submitted to the Speaker of the Assembly with a total of 336 signatures, together with the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP). The Saadet Party also gave support for the law amendment proposal, which the Good (Iyi) Party had announced that it would support in the past few days.

Saadet Party Konya Deputy and Chairman of Youth Branch Abdulkadir Karaduman gave his support with the words “I agree with the Law Proposal on Amending the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey with the basis number 2/4779” in the article he submitted to the Presidency of the TBMM.

“WE WILL BE AN ENGINE FOR GOODNESS, A BRAKE FOR EVIL” 

Sharing his decision on the proposal on his social media account, Karaduman said, “We declare our support by signing the Constitutional amendment proposal that brings constitutional guarantees to the headscarf and defines the marriage union. We will be an engine for goodness, a brake for evil.” 

IF IT GETS 400 VOTES, THE PROPOSAL BECOME A CONSTITUTIONAL ARTICLE 

AKP, MHP, Good Party and finally, with the support of the Saadet Party, 374 signatures were collected for the amendment to the law. In order for the law to pass the Parliament, it must pass 400 signatures. While news comes from the AKP that a new tour of visits will be launched, the referendum option is kept on the shelf.
