An intense legislative work awaits deputies in the Turkish Grand National Assembly this week. 
 
The increase in civil servants and pensioners, especially in the additional budget, will be discussed in the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. In addition, before the holiday, political parties will hold their last group meeting in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
 
The Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) is entering a busy week in which it will carry out legislative and auditing activities.
 
At the General Assembly, which will start its weekly work on Tuesday, the Bill of Law on the Establishment of Additional Motor Vehicles Tax for the Compensation of the Economic Losses Caused by the Earthquakes that took place on February 6, 2023 and on Amending Some Laws and the Decree Law No. 375 will be discussed.
 

HOUSING RENTAL PRICE INCREASE WILL BE FIXED AT 25 PERCENT

 
The regulation limiting the rental price to be applied in residential rentals to 25 percent will be extended until July 1, 2024. As of July 31, among the convicts on Covid-19 leave, those who have 5 years or less time to leave probation will not return to prison again and will execute their remaining time under probation.
 

ADDITIONAL BUDGET TO BE DISCUSSED

 
The Planning and Budget Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey will discuss the Bill of Law on the Amendment of the 2023 Central Government Budget Law and its Affiliated Schedules, signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on Tuesday.
 
After the proposal is accepted by the commission, it is expected to come to the agenda of the General Assembly this week and become law.
 
With the enactment of the proposal, it is envisaged that an appropriation of 1 trillion 119 billion 514 million 513 thousand liras will be added to the relevant public administration budgets in order to meet the appropriation needs of public administrations, especially the expenditures made due to earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş.
 
Law proposals on international agreements are also expected to be discussed at the General Assembly. The Parliamentary Petition Committee will convene for the election of a spokesperson. Weekly group meetings organized by political parties will also be held in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
