Former Mayor of Kestel Yener Acar was visited by Bursa Provincial Deputy Chairman of Saadet Party Ali Osman Karahan, Taner Keleş and Salih Kocatepe.
Yener Acar thanked Ali Osman Karahan, the provincial vice-president of the Saadet Party, for their visit and stated that they honored him.
On the other hand, Acar stated in his statement that the meaning of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) in 2022 has changed and said, “Our 60-70-year-old elders think that the AKP is still the AKP of twenty years ago. The AKP has changed, there is no old AKP.”
Acar said, “Our country needs unity and solidarity more than ever, and that our country needs honor and dignity again, we should use a unifying language instead of a polarizing language at home. The Saadet Party uses the unifying language.”
After the conversation, members of the Saadet Party presented the book "Political Ethics in the Islamic Society" to Yener Acar.
Karahan expressing that visits will also include presidents and deputies of municipalities which serve Bursa, he said that the program should be evaluated in this context.
