The Felicity (Saadet) Party İzmir Provincial Organization launched the 'Village Scanning Program' project to support the agricultural sector, listen to the grievances of the farmers in distress and share their solution suggestions. Saadet Party İzmir Provincial Organization, which will visit the villages in İzmir and visit the farmers and animal husbandry within the scope of the project, held a press release regarding the 'Village Screening Program'. In the press statement made with the participation of many local press members, Saadet Party İzmir Provincial Chairman Mustafa Erduran made important statements. Within the scope of the project, Saadet Party İzmir Provincial Organization will divide İzmir into two regions as North and South districts and will carry out this work with 60 teams of 5 people in total 300 people. When the work, which will take place in four stages, is completed, it is aimed to visit 500 villages.
“THE FARMER’S LIFE SPENT IN A SPIRAL OF DEBT AND INTEREST”
Making a statement before the 'Village Scanning Program' project, Saadet Party Provincial Chairman Mustafa Erduran said, "In the government's agricultural policy, national agricultural policy vision and lack of projects are seen. However, agriculture is the lifeblood of a country. The farmer's life is spent in a spiral of debt and interest. Due to the increase in basic inputs, the farmer was unable to cultivate his-her land. There were increases in fertilizer and diesel fuel exceeding 100 percent. According to Social Security Institution (SGK) data, while the number of farmers exceeded one million in previous years, today this number has decreased to 500 thousand. Our farmer is in debt. The two sides of our farmer cannot come together from paying interest."
“SAADET PARTY HAS ADOPTED A NATIONAL POLICY IN AGRICULTURE”
Stating that long-term policies should be developed in both agriculture and animal husbandry, Mustafa Erduran added, “The farmer goes bankrupt and leaves his village. While foreign countries are mobilizing to prepare agriculture for tomorrow and pouring their resources into agriculture; Turkey has become foreign dependent due to wrong agricultural policies. We have even become an importer of important products such as wheat, corn, cotton and rice grown on our soil. But Saadet party does not look at agriculture only from the point of view of economy. The agricultural sector is a strategic and national issue. For this reason, the Saadet Party has adopted a national policy, not dependent on foreign agriculture. Under the Saadet Party government, agriculture and animal husbandry will be supported in a way that will increase production, increase quality and harvest power.”
