Saadet Party Deputy Chairman Mustafa Kaya made a press release regarding the developments in foreign policy in Istanbul.

Speaking before and after the elections that took place in the USA on November 3, 2020 and won by Joe Biden, Kaya made remarkable statements.

Noting that steps should be taken to prevent the redrawing of the regional maps of Turkey, Saadet Party Vice President Mustafa Kaya stated that foreign policy will not carry populism.

Stating that the relations between Turkey and the USA were based on personal affinities and went down in history as lost years, Kaya said, "This closeness between the ruling officials and Trump does not contribute to Turkey, and it causes very difficult results to be compensated both regionally and as a country. happened. There have been many developments against Turkey during the Trump era. Despite all this, we heard propaganda from the ruling authorities as "Trump is good, his environment is bad" while these events were happening."

Kaya, who predicts that the Joe Biden era will be similar to the Trump era, said, "Joe Biden, who will take over on January 20, will actually not be different from Trump. The only difference is that attempts to corner Turkey will be driven by institutions. If Turkey does not take the right steps in this new period, it will continue by adding its presence to many areas of crisis with the USA. As you know, Biden was Obama's assistant. Our region has been caught in today's dilemmas, especially during the Obama period. Biden is also known as an indomitable advocate of the Greater Middle East Project. Turkey could face enormous damage if it is not careful. "There is a general belief that the relations with Trump, which is more precisely thought to be based on personal relations, will be more institutionalized in the Biden period, and it is true that it will be like that."

PROBLEMS WITH REGIONAL COUNTRIES SHOULD BE SOLVED ASAP

"How should Turkey act, what should it do?" Answering this question, Kaya said, "Turkey should put aside individual approaches and highlight its institutional mind as soon as possible. Foreign policy should not be used as a material for domestic policy. One should not take a step back on the S-400 issue without entering into unilateral dependence with Russia. "Diplomatic initiatives should be made to frustrate the US plans for Syria and the problems with the countries in the region should be resolved as soon as possible."

OUR COUNTRY'S BENEFITS SHOULD BE OUR COMMON CARE

Mustafa Kaya made very important warnings to the government. Noting that foreign policy will not remove populism, Kaya said, "Listen to the voices of those who do not think like you but have ideas. We know everything, get rid of the mistake. This country is ours. Foreign policy does not carry populism. Today is your responsibility, tomorrow it may pass to someone else. However, the interests of our country should be our common concern. Abandon the approaches that will harm them."
