After the earthquake news coming from Elazig and Malatya, Atik Ağdag on behalf of the Saadet Party went to Elazig with a delegation and Konya Deputy Abdulkadir Karaduman went to Malatya with another delegation.

Saadet Party Vice President Atik Ağdağ, Saadet Party Youth Branch President and Konya Deputy Abdulkadir Karaduman went to Malatya's Pütürge and Doğanyol districts and surrounding villages for on-site investigations after canceling all their programs after the earthquake in Elazığ and Malatya. Then the delegation went to Elazig.

“WE SHOULD HAVE TO HOLD OUR WOUNDS ASAP”

Atik Ağdağ, Deputy Chairman of the Saadet Party, who made investigations in the earthquake region, stated that the Elazig earthquake deeply saddened them.

"We visited the towns of Malatya Pütürge, Doğanyol and Gökçe. Now we are in the wreckage region in Elazig, we are with our brothers in earthquake victims. These are our most sensitive times. We need to heal our wounds as soon as possible. After these days have passed, we need to take lessons from the events and take precautions," Akdağ said.

"EVERY EARTHQUAKE LIVES SIGN TO OUR LACK"

Atik Ağdağ also pointed out the earthquakes in the past and said, "Every earthquake that is experienced points to our shortcomings in this regard, but we are not as if we have taken any lessons. May Allah Almighty not let us experience such pain again. Our only consolation in such an earthquake that occurred in a very large geography is that loss of life and destruction is less than expected. May Allah protect us from bigger disasters. Hopefully we will learn the lessons from this event."

MET THE CITIZENS ONE BY ONE

The next visit stop of Karaduman, who examined the damaged houses one by one with the citizens in Doğanyol district and neighboring villages, was the hometown of 80 buildings, including the district town hall, which was destroyed. Here, Karaduman, who was met with great interest by the earthquake victims, also visited the crisis desk established in the district and received information about the works and stated that they are ready to do everything they can to cover the wounds. Karaduman also visited the village Arıtoprak. After visiting Malatya, Karaduman moved to Elazig, another earthquake zone.
