While the "Nation-Deputy Meetings" organized by the Saadet Party all over Turkey continue at full speed, Saadet Party Samsun Deputy Mehmet Karaman met with citizens in Adana after Gaziantep.

Karaman, who also visited the container city in the city negatively affected by the February 6 earthquakes, listened to the problems of the citizens.

Saadet Party Samsun Deputy Mehmet Karaman, who also attended the Saadet Party Adana Provincial Council, made important evaluations about the agenda while presenting a certificate of appreciation to the elders who have served Milli Görüş cause for years.

“WE DO NOT HAVE THE LUXURY OF SAYING NO TO EVERY OFFER”

In his statements to the press, Saadet Party Samsun Deputy Mehmet Karaman stated that they will support the ruling party if they do good work.

"We do not have the luxury of blindly saying no to every proposal brought by the ruling party. Because we work for the nation. Our President touched on three important issues while returning from America yesterday: Protecting the family is protecting the homeland. This is where we say that the family is a small state. If you destroy the family, the state disappears. We support this situation. We will make the pension regulation as we enter 2024. But this is a little late. Today, there are 16 million retirees in Turkey. The rate of 7 thousand 500 areas is 70 percent. While there are so many retirees in Turkey, this cannot be postponed until 2024," he said.

"THE PRESIDENT MUST NOT BE A PARTY MEMBER"

Underlining that they had to sit at the same table with the opposition parties at the Saadet Party Adana Provincial Council, Karaman said, "We will all talk to each other. We will not blame each other. The president came with 52 percent of the votes, but he is the president with 100 percent of the votes. He needs to treat us all equally. He cannot maintain this impartiality because he is the chairman of a political party. You are going to a province, the governor is the representative of the president. The AKP provincial chairman is also the representative of the president, there is a confusion of authority there. Such a thing cannot happen. We have said from the beginning that the president should not be a party member and we will continue to say so."
