Speaking to the Millî Gazete, İsmail said that the sale of land to foreigners should be completely banned and only given the right to buy an apartment. However, Underlining the importance of removing all kinds of prohibitions and restrictions applied to the sale of housing and land to Republic of Turkey (T.C.) citizens, İsmail said, “If the Turkish population on the island increases on this basis, the future and security of the Turkish presence in Cyprus will be ensured forever.”

It was learned that the bill submitted by the National Unity Party (UBP) İskele Deputy Yasemin Öztürk to the TRNC Assembly in October 2022 with the request of limiting the purchase of immovable property by foreigners was withdrawn. Sources reached by our newspaper noted that the proposal in question was withdrawn as a result of pressure from the Zionists. While the current situation reveals the power of the Zionist foci in the TRNC, the occupation in the TRNC continues.

RESTRICTIONS WOULD BE IMPLEMENTED ON THE PURCHASE OF IMMOVABLE GOODS

There was a very important development in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in October 2022. The National Unity Party (UBP) Iskele Deputy Yasemin Öztürk, who was in power in the TRNC, presented a law proposal to the TRNC Assembly. If the proposal containing a proposal to limit the purchase of immovable property by foreigners in the TRNC was accepted, a restriction would be imposed on the purchase of immovable property by foreigners in the TRNC.

MİLLİ GAZETE REACHES CRITICAL INFORMATION

The Milli Gazete, which has been following the process closely for months after the bill submitted to the TRNC Assembly by UBP Iskele Deputy Yasemin Öztürk, reached shocking information. According to the information we have obtained, the law proposal to limit the purchase of immovable property by foreigners in the TRNC has been withdrawn. It was learned that the situation in question occurred as a result of the pressure of the Zionists. While the sources we reached recorded that what happened was unacceptable, it was once again revealed how influential Zionism was on TRNC politics.

WITH WHAT REASON IT HAS BEEN DONE?

After it was revealed that Öztürk's proposal to the TRNC Assembly to limit the purchase of real estate by foreigners in October 2022 was withdrawn as a result of the pressure of the Zionists, Sabahattin İsmail, the former adviser of the former President of the TRNC, Rauf Denktaş, made flashy statements to our newspaper on the subject. Evaluating the issue, İsmail said, “This proposal was completely protecting the interests of the country and the people. It is unacceptable for a party and government claiming to be a nationalist, instead of supporting it, to put pressure on the parliamentarians to withdraw the bill. They have to explain to the public why they are doing this. What they cannot explain. Because they are in close contact with the rent circles that plunder the homeland.”

“IF MEASURES ARE NOT TAKEN, WE WILL BE LANDLESS”

Making very critical assessments to the Milli Gazete, Sabahattin İsmail drew attention to the construction companies owned by Israeli citizens and doing giant construction works in the TRNC. Noting that the number of Israel citizens has increased a lot in TRNC, İsmail said, “This number has increased so much that now attempts to open a synagogue have started. The authorities of Turkey and the TRNC are visiting and demanding permission to open a synagogue and allocating land for this purpose. In addition, many church houses and Protestant churches were opened in the TRNC. The Catholic and Orthodox population also increased considerably. They even post advertisements on social media and invite the public to join their congregations and rituals. In a country like the TRNC, which has great strategic importance but small land area and low population, if religious and ethnic diversity is not kept under control and our land ownership is not protected, it is inevitable that we will be landless in our own country and become a minority in the future.”
