The March council meeting of the Istanbul Provincial Presidency of the Felicity (Saadet) Party was held yesterday. Saadet Party Deputy Chairman Sabri Tekir, Saadet Party Istanbul Provincial President Ömer Faruk Yazıcı, as well as Saadet Party Istanbul Provincial Administration and Saadet Party Istanbul district organizations attended the council meeting held online on the occasion of Ramadan. Addressing the Saadet Party Istanbul organization at the end of the commission presentations, Sabri Tekir drew attention to the economic problems in Turkey and in the world.

“INFLATION OF THE EURO REGION IS 5,1 ON AVERAGE”

Sabri Tekir, Deputy Chairman of the Saadet Party, who gave information about the economy to the members of the organization, said, “If there is an economic crisis in a country, it means that there is a disease in that country's monetary system. The main cause of economic crises, political imbalances and inflation is the exploitation of the monetary system. Policies that impoverish our people and exploit money are now being implemented in Turkey. When, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) figures, 54 percent inflation is in Turkey, according to the figures announced by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO), this rate is 63 percent. Price increases all over the world are shown as an excuse against high inflation in Turkey. See, inflation, which was 1,6 percent in Switzerland, increased to 2,3 percent, and the inflation that was 3,2 percent in Norway increased to 3,7 percent. The highest inflation in Europe is in the Netherlands with 6,4 percent. Inflation of the entire Euro area is 5,1 on average.”

“41 PERCENT HIKE MADE ON FERTILIZERS AS OF MARCH 17”

Sabri Tekir drew attention to the exorbitant price increases and added, “When they have an eye on the bread, food and livelihood of our people, we must first look at the costs and prices of basic consumption products. Currently, there are inexplicable hikes in basic consumer products. Under the pressure of the government, a 30 percent reduction was made in fertilizer prices in the past months. And after 1 month passed, a new wave of hikes came and 30 percent discount was applied to fertilizers, as of March 17, 41 percent was increased. The government's understanding of economy is like Janissary walking; 2 forward 1 backward. It is necessary to ask here, is it possible for the increase in fertilizers to be at the initiative of the government? If possible, how can one explain such a hike in fertilizers at a time when farmers will start cultivating the land?”

“FAIR STATE IS TO LEAVE CHOOSING WHAT IS BLACK AND WHITE TO THE LAW”

In his speech at the meeting, Istanbul Provincial Chairman of the Saadet Party Ömer Faruk Yazıcı emphasized the justice of the state and said, “A fair state; is to protect the olive groves of our country instead of the interests of a group of mining companies. Fair state; instead of interviewing to favor those close to you, it is to interview to choose the one who is suitable for the job. Fair state; instead of making innocent people suffer by saying that throw the baby out with the bathwater, it is to leave choosing what is the black and white to the law. Fair sharing; in an order that makes the rich richer and the poor poorer, to ensure fair distribution of national income instead of boasting about increased national income; so that everyone can live in peace is to provide. Fair sharing; Instead of taking away the rights of the citizens and increasing the share of the partisans, it is to ensure that everyone gets what they deserve.”

"WE WILL GET THE SUPPORT OF OUR NATION"

Giving the good news that the government of the National Vision (Milli Görüş) is approaching, “The economy of consumption, waste and corruption has made the lands we call ‘heavenly homeland’ uninhabitable for our people at the end of 20 years. However, all of us; We know that the means and resources of our country are enough for each of our citizens to live humanely. And we know that the only way to achieve this is 'Fair State; Fair Sharing'. We have a choice before us. Until this election, we will tell our people that our salvation is possible through 'Fair State, Fair Sharing'. We will not just tell. We will invite our people to take part in this struggle by saying, ‘Fair State, Fair Sharing Happens with You!’ We will get the support of our nation,” Ömer Faruk Yazıcı added.
