Maybe the resisting groups have changed over time; but the fate of Palestine is always the same. They always resisted.
Year; 1948... Palestine problem...
Year; 1967... Palestinians are fighting Israel.
Before 1980; While there was war in Eritrea-Moro-Palestine-Afghanistan, Chechnya, Azerbaijan and Bosnia were added to the countries struggling with wars and invasions in the 1990s. But Palestine has always remained a bleeding wound.
Although peace and tranquility are dominant in many places today, bleeding does not stop in Palestine. So what's the reason for all this?
Who causes this happening?
Of course, Israel!
Let's take a look at the Palestinian events, step by step:
1-) Founded in 1964 under the presidency of Ahmet Şukayri, the PLO was supported as a trump card by the founder will until the 1967 defeat.
2-) The fact that countries such as Egypt, Syria, and Jordan, which revealed PLO in the name of localization, emerged from the 1967 war with a heavy defeat, gave birth to Yasser Arafat within the PLO.
3-) The fact that leaders such as Yasser Arafat, George Habash, and Ahmet Jibril had to continue their struggles outside Palestine contributed to the emergence of new leaders.
These new leaders, described as the younger generation, also caused a dissociation within the PLO. Yaser Arafat's definition of "my little generals", who made the first intifada in 1987, both attracted Arafat to this line and legitimized it to the younger generation.
As known; Between 1948 and 64, issues related to Palestine were enforced by Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. More clearly, the Palestinian issue was represented by these three countries until the PLO was established in 1964.
Those who took office in Palestine, such as Yasser Arafat, were in favor of dialogue with Israel. According to them, a Palestine in this position can live peacefully with Israel. Opponents of Arafat were defending the thesis, "Israel only understands strength". At the point reached today, the support of deep-rooted leaders such as Arafat to the intifada is only by tactics.
When looking at the parties in terms of establishing a state in Palestine, it is possible to talk about two methods: "military struggle" and "peace negotiations".
The Palestinian State, which is a "long and thin road" as Aşık Veysel said, must be established. Statelessness continues to increase problems.
