Anadolu Youth Association (AGD) Regional and Branch Heads Meeting was held in Ankara.
Addressing the regional and branch heads, AGD and the National Youth Foundation (MGV) President Salih Turhan made important statements regarding the agenda.
Turhan started his speech by wishing mercy to the citizens who lost their lives in the earthquake in Elâzığ and Malatya and underlined that there are lessons to be learned from the earthquake.
Turhan, "When we look at the news in the media within a week, we see a lot of immoralities in the society. We are faced with immoralities that we have not seen or heard in the past. After the earthquake, very serious assistance was collected, including our people in the Elazığ and Malatya regions, as well as Muslims and non-Muslims in our country and in many parts of the world. No matter how much they tried to destroy brotherhood in the society, try to draw boundaries between people, even if they wanted to reveal the issues that were not accepted in terms of our beliefs such as color and race distinctions, our people sent their help from east to west. Especially, the letters sent by our brothers and sisters in our Anatolian Youth Association's exploring groups in order to claim our brothers in Elâzığ and Malatya, and their deliveries of three or five cents are delivered to those in need. That is to say, we have observed together that brotherhood, belief, faith, sense of help are still warm in the heart of this society and studies are being carried out to continue these," he said.
Turhan, "the US President Donald Trump announced the scandal of the 21st Century Agreement plan, and we encountered a process that touched all of our honor and dignity. While watching that explanation, there are times when human beings are sometimes helpless. I can't afford it, he says very strong. But this is not such a thing. The dimension we face in this process is not the case that America and Israel are stronger than Muslims. What they do is only because of our mess. Why don't you put it on scorpions and snakes? The man called Trump says that Palestinians have rights and they should come to Jerusalem as they wish, and they should have a state in East Jerusalem. There is no state called Israel in our minds, hearts, borders, land and history. The so-called Israel is the world's largest terrorist and hijacker structure," he added.
