Saudi minister to visit Tehran

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kenani stated that Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan will visit his country "soon".

After 7 years, Riyadh and Tehran reached an agreement on the resumption of diplomatic relations through Chinese officials in Beijing on March 10.
 
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Kenani evaluated the agenda at the press conference he held in the capital, Tehran.
 
Reminding that Iran and Saudi Arabia re-established diplomatic relations after 7 years, the Iranian Embassy in Riyadh and the Consulate in Jeddah were opened, Kenani said that the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Tehran will open in a short time.
 
Kenani announced that upon the invitation of Foreign Minister Hussein Emir Abdullahiyan, Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Bin Ferhan will visit Iran "in the near future" and attend the opening of his country's Embassy in Tehran.
 
Riyadh and Tehran agreed on the resumption of diplomatic relations within two months, through Chinese officials, in Beijing on March 10, after a 7-year hiatus.
 
Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahiyan and his Saudi Arabian counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, met in Beijing on April 6 and agreed on reopening the embassies of the two countries, resuming flights between the two countries and facilitating visas.
 
On 23 May, Iran announced that Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Reza Enayeti was appointed as Riyadh Ambassador.
 

GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL: “WE ARE READY FOR EFFECTIVE COOPERATION IN IRAN'S NUCLEAR FILE”

 
On the other hand, it was stated that the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries are ready for effective cooperation in Iran's "nuclear file".
 
After the meeting held at the level of foreign ministers in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, a statement was made by the GCC.
 
It was stated that Iran should fulfill its obligations regarding the nuclear agreement and cooperate fully with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
 
The statement also pointed out the willingness of the GCC countries to cooperate and deal effectively with Iran's nuclear file, emphasizing that the relevant countries should participate in all negotiations and meetings.
