The Anatolian Youth Association (AGD), which continues to fight for its oppressed Muslim brothers in the entire Islamic geography, stood up for our Kashmiri brothers in front of the Indian Consulate the other day.
The protest, which was held on the anniversary of the abolition of the autonomy of Jammu Kashmir on August 5, was organized by the AGD Istanbul Branch with the slogan "Kashmir Siege Day: Stop the Occupation in Kashmir!".
AGD members, who came together in front of the consulate building with the awareness of the Ummah, protested the persecution of India.
In the protest where slogans were shouted for Kashmiri Muslims, who have been subjected to Hindu persecution for years, a press release was read by AGD Istanbul Branch Universities Commission President Ümit Can Ateş.
The protest ended with a prayer for the people who are persecuted all over the world, especially Kashmiri Muslims, to attain happiness.
“ISLAM IS THE ONLY SOURCE OF PEACE, BROTHERHOOD AND JUSTICE”
AGD Istanbul Branch Universities Commission Chairman Ümit Can Ateş, who read the press statement in front of the Indian Consulate in protest said following words:
"The only source of peace, brotherhood and justice is Islam and humanity can find peace only with Islam. As long as Muslims gathered around their own values and adopted justice as a motto, they brought peace and security to wherever they lived. However, cruel governments, pagan and self-interested groups have always seen Islam and Muslims as a threat to themselves. Today, we have gathered to share with the public the atrocities committed by India, one of the world's largest countries in terms of population, against Kashmiri Muslims and the sufferings of our Kashmiri brothers, and to worry about their troubles."
“WHY IS THE WORLD TAKING THE ROLE OF THE MUTE AND DEAF?”
Ümit Can Ateş, drawing attention to the difference of Islam, "While Indian priests openly promote atrocities, Islamic scholars should put the establishment of justice more on their agenda. It is not possible to understand the unresponsiveness of Islamic countries and the silence of Muslims when the difficulties experienced by Muslims are evident. When it comes to uncontrolled immigration, why do the opposition parties, which make all kinds of noise, bury their heads in the sand when it comes to atrocities in Muslim countries? When it comes to all kinds of tabloids, corruption and prostitution, the mainstream media occupying the homes of Muslim families for hours; Why does it take on the role of dumb and deaf when it comes to bloodshed in the Islamic geography? he asked.
