In the statement made by the Ministry, it was stated that an agreement was reached to stop the local anti-terrorist operation, taking into account the application made by the representatives of the Armenian population of Karabakh through the Russian Peace Force.

The statement included the following articles regarding the agreement:

"Armenian armed forces and illegal Armenian armed groups in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan are disarming, abandoning their combat positions and fortifications and being completely disarmed. Armenian armed forces are withdrawing from Azerbaijani territory, illegal Armenian armed groups are being dissolved. In parallel, all weapons, ammunition and heavy vehicles are delivered."

MORE THAN 90 MILITARY POSITIONS ARE UNDER CONTROL OF THE AZERBAIJANI ARMY

Spokesperson of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, Colonel Anar Eyvazov, announced that more than 90 positions of the Armenian armed forces in Karabakh came under the control of the Azerbaijani army, and 7 military vehicles, 4 mortars, 1 tank, 2 armored infantry vehicles were seized by Azerbaijani soldiers.

After the Second Karabakh War, which lasted 44 days, the steps taken by the so-called regime in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan caused tension to rise.

Armenian armed groups have continued to systematically open fire on Azerbaijani army positions and lay mines in the past few months.

Despite the demands from Azerbaijan for the dissolution of the so-called regime, the so-called "presidential election" held on September 9 in the lands controlled by Armenian forces further increased the tension.

Finally, on September 19, 2 people died in a truck belonging to the Azerbaijani state institution, which passed over a mine on the Ahmetbeyli-Fuzuli-Shusha highway in Khojavent province.

4 police officers were martyred as a result of the police vehicle that went to the scene passing over another mine.

Thereupon, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense launched a local anti-terrorist operation in order to re-establish the constitutional structure in Karabakh.

KREMLIN: “ARMENIA'S ACCUSES OF RUSSIA ARE UNBASED”

Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, reacting to Armenia's accusations against Russia regarding Karabakh, said, "Such accusations against us are absolutely unfounded and unfounded. From a legal perspective, Azerbaijan's actions on its own territory are in question."

Peskov pointed out that they took into consideration the 2021-2022 tripartite agreements between Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on the Karabakh issue.

"Another important issue in terms of archives is that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan recognized Azerbaijan's territory as of 1991. This means that the Armenian side recognizes Karabakh as an integral part of Azerbaijani territory," Peskov added.

Response from Azerbaijan to France:

“FRANCE, THE ENEMY OF ISLAM, SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM HERE”

Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to the criticism of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding Azerbaijan's anti-terrorism measures in Karabakh.

"This attitude of France shows that it has not learned from the current situation in the colonial regions it is facing today and continues to maintain its previous policies on this issue," the ministry said.

Recalling that France took an anti-Azerbaijani stance in the 2nd Karabakh War, the statement included the following statements:

"French officials are even more active in anti-Azerbaijani statements and initiatives than Armenia. France's anti-Islam and anti-Azerbaijan policies and its unacceptable intervention in our internal affairs show that the further France is from this region, the better it will be for the region."
