After Erdoğan came first with 27 million votes in the first round of the presidential election, and Kılıçdaroğlu came second with 24 million 430 thousand votes, calculations started all over again.
While there is a difference of approximately 2 million 500 thousand votes between Erdoğan and Kılıçdaroğlu, approximately 4 million voters will determine the outcome of the second round, with 3 million votes given to Sinan Oğan and Muharrem İnce and 1 million votes deemed invalid in the first round.
THE ASSEMBLY WILL MEET AFTER THE FINAL RESULTS
At the first meeting, the swearing-in ceremony of the deputies will be held. The oldest member of parliament will assume the temporary chairmanship until the speaker of the parliament is elected. After the first meeting, the election of the President of the Assembly will be completed in at least 6 and at most 10 days.
The General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly will convene without a call at 14.00 on the third day following the announcement of the final results of the 28th Term Parliamentary Election by the Supreme Election Board (YSK).
According to the third article of the Parliament's Rules of Procedure, titled "First meeting, taking oath and taking office", in the first meeting, the swearing-in ceremony of the deputies will be held first.
The oath will take place with each deputy reading the text of the Constitution out loud from the podium. Deputies; constituency, surnames and names will be sworn in alphabetical order.
Deputies who are not present at the swearing-in ceremony will be able to take an oath at the beginning of the first meeting they attend. Deputies will start their duties by taking an oath. The deputies who abstain from taking the oath will not be able to benefit from the rights arising from the title of deputies.
PRESIDENTIAL COUNCIL
From the first session of the first convocation of the legislative term until the President is elected, the oldest MP will serve as the Interim President. The second oldest member will serve as the Vice President. The youngest 6 deputies will also be temporary clerk members.
ELECTION AND DURATION OF THE PRESIDENT
According to Rule 10 of the Rules of Procedure, two elections are held for the Presidency in one legislative term. The term of office of the first elected is 2 years, the term of office of the elected for the second period is 3 years.
According to the bylaws, political party groups cannot nominate candidates for the Presidency. Candidates for President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, among the members of the Assembly, will be notified to the Presidency Council within five days from the day the Assembly convenes after the general elections for the deputies.
Parliament will meet automatically on the day of the election. The election of the president will be done by secret ballot. In the first two votes, two-thirds of the total number of members, and in the third vote, an absolute majority of the total number of members will be sought.
If an absolute majority is not achieved in the third ballot, a fourth ballot will be held for the two candidates who received the most votes in this ballot; The member who gets the most votes in the fourth ballot will be elected President. The presidential election will be completed within 5 days from the end of the nomination period.
REPRESENTATION OF PARTY GROUPS AT THE PRESIDENTIAL COUNCIL
The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey will determine the percentages of the political party groups in the total number of party groups and the number of positions in the Presidency Council for each political party group according to these ratios and will inform the Advisory Board.
The places of duty in the Presidency Council will be distributed in order, starting with the highest rate for the vice presidents. The distribution of posts for the clerk memberships and administrative offices will be decided by the General Assembly after taking the opinion of the Advisory Board.
Political party groups will nominate their candidates for the places that fall under them. The election will be completed by voting on the list showing these candidates by the General Assembly.

Sinan Ogan, the presidential candidate of the Ata Alliance, stated that they achieved the goals they wanted in the elections.
