AGD Konya Branch Secondary Schools Commission drew attention to the events taking place in Palestine with the 'Middle School Youth at the Quds Watch' program organized at the AGD Quds Watch Tent in Konya Kültürpark, which was established to support Palestine.
Middle school youth gathered in the Quds Tent and chanted slogans for Quds and the martyrs.
AGD Konya Branch President Durmuş Ali Kara, AGD Konya Branch Board Members, AGD Secondary School commission members, scouts and Quds lovers from Konya attended the program. After the Quran recitation, 6th grade student Ali Mücevher made a press statement on behalf of the Youth.
“HOW MANY MORE OF OUR FRIENDS WILL CONTINUE TO DIE”
Making a press statement at the organization organized by AGD, secondary school student Ali Mücevher expressed the feelings of his Palestinian peer.
"I'm a Palestinian boy! I didn't know what a toy was. We played martyrdom with my friends. One of us was martyred every day, both in the game and in real life. I don't know if I have a school or not. Because the bombs also fall on schools and we are left without schools. I'm a Palestinian boy! A child without a mother since the day he was born! The child who has been tried to be left stateless since the day he was born. What was my fault? What was my mother's fault? What is our fault that they attack us like this? And you, O Muslims! What is our fault that you remained silent towards us? Didn't you even take the time to include us in your prayers? Are you not aware of our situation? Or did they take you captive and bomb your cities and you couldn't help us? I'm a Palestinian boy! Gaza's hope. The hope of Masjid al-Aqsa," Mücevher said.
“OUR STRUGGLE IS FOR ISLAM, IT IS FOR GOD”
Ali Mücevher continued his speech as follows:
"Now I say it again as myself: I am the boy from Turkey! Greetings to Gaza from these lands. Greetings to our Masjid al-Aqsa from here. Our struggle is for Islam, for Allah. We will never stop fighting until Palestinian lands become a grave for Zionism. As children, all we can do is pray and try to make this cruelty known. Well, O you who are in authority! After how many more children die, will you abandon your condemnations and take action? Have you ever written your children's names on their wrists like a tombstone, knowing that they will be martyred in a few hours? We cry out to adult hearts with our children's hearts; Quds is the capital of Palestine and the capital of Israel is not Tel Aviv but the bottom of hell."
At the end of the program, the students sang melodies together and prayed for Palestine.
