The Serbian State, which occupied the lands of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the early 1990s and inflicted great pain on Bosnian Muslims, continues to look at the Bosnian society with a historical grudge. Bosniak commander Husein Mujanovic, who was detained upon his entry into Serbia in 2018 and held in captivity for 4 years, was sentenced to a heavy sentence by the Serbian court. The Belgrade court sentenced Husein Mujanovic to ten years in prison, who was tried for allegedly harming Serbian prisoners in the Hrasnica Military Prison, run by the Bosnian Army, in Sarajevo during the war. Mujanovic's lawyer said that a fair trial could not be conducted because the Belgrade High Court was biased and none of the proposed witnesses agreed. The scandalous decision will be taken to the appeal process again.
SERBIA CONTINUES ITS TWO-FACES POLICIES
The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina evaluated the decision to sentence the Bosnian commander Husein Mujanovic to 10 years in prison. Council President Sefik Dzaferovic said that it is illegal for Serbian courts to prosecute citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dzaferovic said the decision constitutes a continuation of Serbia's persecution of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dzaferovic said, “Since Serbia is a party to the war in Bosnia, an impartial decision cannot be expected from the Serbian courts in the trial of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Only the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina can try Mujanovic. The prison sentence given to Mujanovic is a clear indication that Serbia continues its hypocritical policies.”
SERBIA IS SEEKING TO REVENGE THE FIASCO IT EXPERIENCED
After the collapse of the Yugoslav Federation, the Serbian state, which acted with a racist ideology, occupied the lands of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the dream of establishing a Greater Serbia, and massacred hundreds of thousands of Bosnian and Herzegovina citizens between 1992-1995. Against the Bosnians who struggled for independence under the leadership of the late President Aliya Izetbegovic, Serbia that had suffered a heavy defeat 30 years ago, seeks to avenge its defeat. Despite the poverty and economic insufficiency in Serbia, the Serbian government, which invested all its state resources in arms, has spent billions of dollars in recent years to develop its army. The military investments of the Serbian government, which reveals its desire for revenge in different ways each time, are evaluated as preparations for a new attack plan against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo.
