Felicity (Saadet) Party Konya Deputy and Head of Youth Branch Abdulkadir Karaduman spoke at the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) about the increase in housing prices after the housing package announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan after the cabinet meeting.
“WHO WILL PAY THE INSTALLMENT OF 28,000 TURKISH LIRAS?”
Reminding that Erdogan announced the package as ‘the good news of housing loans,’ Karaduman said, “Once again, this government has shown that; they are not the power of the poor, the destitute, the low-income citizen; they are the power of capital owners, banks and interest lobbies. You say monthly installments of 14,000 Turkish Liras (TL) for a 1,000,000 TL house, and 28,000 TL a monthly installments for a 2,000,000 TL house. So, who will pay the 14,000 TL per month, will the minimum wage earner pay, will the the civil servant pay, will the pensioner pay?”

"For God's sake, whose troubles will these mind-boggling good news be a cure?" Karaduman asked, and added: “Who do you think you are serving by donating to banks? Come to yourself; For once, serve this nation, not the interest lobby.”
