A preacher of Masjid Al-Aqsa, Sheikh Ismail Nevahida said that on the anniversary of the incarnation of the Masjid Al-Aqsa, the Arabs and Muslims should assume responsibility for the liberation of Aqsa, and the Palestinians must unite their ranks and end the division.
Sheikh Nevahida, who was the recipient of the Friday sermon at the Masjid Al-Aqsa, said: "A few days later, we will commemorate the anniversary of the assassination of Aqsa in August 1969 by a person bearing grudges against Islam and Muslims. The facts and evidence show that the fire has been intentionally removed. The fire that day caused great reaction among the Muslims. But the reactions did not go to the desired level," he said.
Nevahida stated that this fire required Muslims to fulfill their responsibility to save the Masjid Al-Aqsa as administrators and people, and that the Palestinians needed to end the division and unite their ranks.
Despite all the obstacles of the Zionist occupation regime, tens of thousands of people flocked to the Masjid Al-Aqsa for Friday prayers.
