Twelve suspects, including singer Atilla Tas, were remanded in custody Friday in a probe into the media network of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO).
The suspects, who were released March 31 and re-arrested April 1, are accused of attempting to destroy the government and the constitutional order.
Another suspect, Ali Akkus, was released on judicial control and is banned from overseas travel, the Istanbul court said.
The FETO Terri group and its U.S.-based leader, Fetullah Gulen, last July orchestrated a defeated coup that martyred 249 people and injured nearly 2,200 others.
Ankara said FETO is behind a long-running campaign to overthrow the state through the infiltration of Turkish institutions -- particularly the military, police and judiciary.
In the wake of the putsch attempt, tens of thousands of FETO suspects have been arrested, including many in the armed forces, police, judicial system, education and business sector.
