At the six opposition parties summit, while the terrorist attack that took place in Istanbul Taksim the previous day was harshly condemned, it was emphasized that terrorism would not be allowed.

Six Tables gathered in the 2nd round of the 2nd meeting hosted by the Democracy and Progress (Deva) Party. The 6-member Table, formed by the heads of the Saadet Party, Republican People’s Party (CHP), Good (Iyi) Party, Deva Party, Future (Gelecek) Party and Democrat Party, gathered for the 8th time in Ankara, hosted by Deva Party Chairman Ali Babacan. Babacan welcomed his guests in front of the party headquarters. At the summit where 6 leaders came together, the work of the Six Opposition Parties, especially current issues, was discussed in detail.
 

FIRST AGENDA TERROR ATTACK

 
Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Iyi Party Chairwoman Meral Akşener, Democrat Party Chairman Gültekin Uysal, Deva Party Chairman Ali Babacan and Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu met 8th time in the summit hosted the Deva Party. The host Babacan greeted the leaders at the door. The primary agenda item of the summit, which started at 12:00, was the terrorist attack that took place in Istanbul Taksim the previous day. The leaders made a joint written statement at the beginning of the meeting and shared it with the press.
 

“IT SHOULD CONTINUE UNTIL IT GETS RESULTS” 

 
In the joint statement, “We pray that the number of those who lost their lives does not increase. We are sorry for our nation. We condemn terrorism, terrorist organizations and those who rely on terrorism. We will never compromise our determined stance against those who want to design Turkey with terrorist attacks. We will not allow terrorist organizations to achieve their goals under any circumstances,” the statement said. In the joint statement emphasizing that the fight against terrorism is one of the top priorities of the rule of law, the following was noted: “This struggle must be continued until results are achieved. We are aware of our responsibility and we are determined. It is in the hands of all of us that our nation live in an environment of peace, tranquility and security. We will confidently build the future of our country in a democratic state of law. We will overcome all difficulties together,” the statement added.
