Different political parties have been established in different calendars along the line of Political Islam during the Republican period, but none of them achieved the desired success. The main reason for this is undoubtedly that the established order has set a precedent for political Islam through party closures. The political Islam movement of the Republican period achieved its greatest success with the National Vision Movement. Although the memorandum, coup and party closures prevented the National Vision Movement to overcome this vortex, it has the chance of being in power for years without compromising its principles.
The first political enterprise of Political Islam in the Republican period was with the Association of Preserves (“Muhafaza-i Mukaddesat Cemiyeti”). Then, attempts were made to establish a political party on different dates. One of them is Master Necip Fazil's Great Eastern Society (Party).
The Great Eastern Society was established on 28 June 1949 under the chairmanship of Necip Fazil Kisakurek. On 8 October 1950, under the chairmanship of Necip Fazil, partying activities started with members of the general board of directors consisting of Cevat Rifat Atilhan, Abdurrahim Zapsu, Omer Karagul, Celalettin Sigindere, Sukru Celikay, Sukru Ucisik, Haluk Nur Baki and Lutfi Bilgen. Cevat Rifat Atilhan and Abdurrahim Zapsu conducted the organization of the Association.
In the first article of the order of the Society (Party), The political, ambitious and moral Great Eastern Society was established. Headquarter is in Istanbul. For now there is no branch. The Association reserves the right to open branches at any time and in any place of the country. ”
It is stated in the second article that the Society will become a party in the future: “The Society will be formed as a nucleus first. The goal is to instill the spirit of the whole tree of the country at the beginning only to operate in the intellectual and ambiguous field. However, with all its rights and privileges, a political party holds the way of business and action in which it owns within the framework of the law in order to make use of it at any time and place. ”
In Article 4 of the second chapter of the Regulation, he mentions the Ideolocian Lattice and says, “This worldview, based on an entire ideolocyte lattice, has a nine-pole belief system that once again builds library-wide ideas. , Arbitraryism, Regulatoryism, Interventionism, Precautionary in Capital and Property ”.
Article 5 of the Regulation, “All kinds of Godlessness… All kinds of moral indifference materialism and communism with all degrees and tendencies… Cosmopolitics… Stray fertility…
Inspection and scrupulous impersonation posing and rootless in fiction and science… Fake and rootless revolution… Snob West love… The aim was to combat all irregular manifestations of asymmetrical leadership and social injustice”.
The Great Eastern Society was dissolved by the founders on March 12, 1951, due to financial difficulties without being a party.
