CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu underlined that the government cannot manage the country and emphasized that snap elections should be held as soon as possible. MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli noted that the elections will be held in 754 days.
In the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), CHP and MHP held weekly group meetings. While CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's agenda included the allegations of the crime organization leader Sedat Peker, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made evaluations about the snap election rumors and noted that the elections would be held on time.
“WE SHOULD GO TO THE ELECTION ASAP”
CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu called on the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Şentop and asked to investigate which MP Sedat Peker gave 10 dollars. Kilicdaroglu, "Şentop represents the Turkish Grand National Assembly. It has to protect the honor of this Assembly, to illuminate this filth. Who gave Soylu the ministry? Erdogan. Well, didn't Erdogan hear this when he announced on state television that he had paid a bribe of 10 thousand dollars? Erdogan, did you call Soylu and ask who did you give this 10 thousand dollar bribe to? You (Erdogan) didn't ask. Can he ask? He can't. This government is the most mediocre government ever seen in the history of the Turkish Republic, it is the most incompetent. It is the most narrow-minded government. It is a government that only thinks about its family and close circle and does not think about Turkey. This power is a power that is intertwined with illegal organizations. This government is incompetent and ineffective. This government is one that puts serious burdens on the shoulders of 83 million people. That's why we say we should go to the elections as soon as possible," he said.
“754 DAYS TO ELECTION”
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, regarding the snap election rumors, "Our country does not have an agenda of snap elections. Don't forget about renting, either. Don't say he didn't say, man, listen to the word. Do not try to be the advertising face of imperialism with the head of İyi Party, do not try to persuade the Turkish nation to show death and malaria. The common will of the people and the People's Alliance is clear, as a matter of fact, the general elections for the president and the deputy will be held in June 2023. As of today, there are 754 days left to the elections," he said.
