Snowfall hits higher ground in Turkey's Eastern Black Sea regions

Snowfall in the high parts of the Eastern Black Sea Region was effective the previous day and evening.

Snowfall was observed in the Anzer Plateau at an altitude of 2,105 meters in the İkizdere district, where Anzer honey is produced in Rize, and in many plateaus of the city, with the air temperature falling to -1 degrees. 

SNOW THICKNESS REACHED UP TO 10 CENTIMETERS IN ERCIYES MOUNTAIN

Erciyes Mountain, one of Turkey's important winter tourism centers, was covered with a white blanket with the falling snow, while the snow thickness reached up to 10 centimeters.
