President Erdoğan met with US President Donald Trump as part of his contacts at the INTEX Osaka Exhibition Center where the G20 Leaders Summit was held.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan for Turkey-US relations, "Our strategic partnership will almost certainly encourage our solidarity in many areas. I fully believe that this solidarity will continue in the same way in the future," he said.
 
President Erdoğan met with US President Donald Trump as part of his contacts at the INTEX Osaka Exhibition Center where the G20 Leaders Summit was held. 
 
Erdogan, who made a brief statement at the beginning of the meeting, said it was very meaningful to meet with Trump at the summit. Erdogan said, "We are now making progress towards the top of the 75 billion dollar trade volume. There are steps we have taken, steps we will take for the defense industry, but above all we have a strategic partnership. This strategic partnership of course encourages our solidarity in many areas. I fully believe that this solidarity will continue in the same way in the future."
 
US President Donald Trump said, "President Erdoğan wanted to take the Patriot from the Obama administration but was not allowed. Obama is not treated fairly during Turkey." 
 
Trump, in the G20 Leaders Summit, said in a statement ahead of the meeting with Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, 
 
Trump: You have to be fair
 
"It's a complicated issue", says Trump. We are looking for different solutions. (Against Turkey) You have to be fair." he said. 
 
Trump reminded that Turkey is a NATO member, "friend of Turkey and the United States have done great things together, and our largest trading partner. We'll make it bigger. The volume of bilateral trade is very small at $ 75 billion. It should be over 100 billion dollars." 
 
Trump said that Turkey and US relations advance steadily, "We aim to increase our trade quadrupled. Turkey has very good production and products. Our relations are also developing in the military field. At the same time, we expect a large amount of military procurement from us."
