It has been announced that 4,830 of the 6,420 applications for compensation to be paid to the relatives of the victims on behalf of the Dutch soldiers, which the Netherlands admits to be "partially" (!) responsible for the Srebrenica genocide, are waiting to be evaluated.

Dutch Potocari Compensation Commission Spokesperson Frank Neervoort reported that since June 15, 2021, 6,420 people have applied for compensation as relatives of 350 civilians from Srebrenica during the war in Bosnia (1992-1995).

Neervoort noted that the commission paid 860 victims' relatives and rejected 730 compensation applications, while there were 4,830 people waiting for their applications to be finalized.

Neervoort regarding pending applications, "It takes too long to review. Applications received at the office in Sarajevo are translated. Then, in cases where the experts here do not find the documents and evidence sufficient, we can ask the relatives of the victims to present witnesses. It is a very carefully executed process," he said.

Stating that the commission will continue to receive applications until June 14, 2023, Neervoort said, "We think that these numbers will increase even more."

THE NETHERLANDS' CRIME IS "10 PERCENT"(!)

In the decision of the local court in the Netherlands in 2017, the responsibility of Dutch soldiers, who were partially guilty of the massacre of 350 civilians from Srebrenica by brutal Serbs in the war in Bosnia, was determined as “30 percent”.

Although the Dutch Supreme Court accepted in July 2019 that those who took refuge in the base where the Dutch soldiers were stationed were removed from the base by the soldiers on 13 July 1995 and later murdered by the Serbs, it had reduced the Netherlands' share of responsibility from 30 percent to 10 percent.

Mothers from Srebrenica took the appeal decision to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), regarding the "partial" conviction of the Dutch soldiers and the reduction of their share of responsibility to 10 percent.
