THE LIABILITY OF LAWYERS IS VERY LARGE
Emphasizing that the responsibilities of the legislators are very great, Asiltürk said, "With Article 41 of the Constitution, 'protecting the family unity, increasing the peace and welfare and taking the necessary measures in this matter were charged to the state, and the laws of the family endangered the material and moral integrity of the family. Of course it makes you worry. ‘Regardless, the European Union should accept us’ understanding of international agreements signed without the necessary and sufficient negotiations; It is a clear fact that what has been done to our social fabric today is a major destruction. It is clear that this destruction will be better understood and will cause great pain tomorrow. It is also regrettable that they are not even aware of what they have ratified in the bilateral views we have made with the politicians who have signed these agreements."
NO REASON FOR NO TERMINATION OF THE ISTANBUL CONVENTION
Referring to the Istanbul Convention, which is one of the most important debates in recent days, Asiltürk said, "It should be seen that the wrong practices in the plans and programs of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of National Education, in particular, will not conform to our social fabric and will lead our nation to a full bankruptcy. Moreover, the issue of whether or not to enter the European Union has fallen from the agenda of the country. And there is no reason not to terminate the Istanbul Convention. If we have problems stemming from our traditions, customs, habits and understandings, as a society, we should make self-criticism and carry the honor of producing the appropriate law for ourselves. These laws, which many countries of the world do not approve, or even push and refuse, or annotate, are unfortunately channeled to our country with European Union funds."
WEDDING DIVIDED
Recalling that marriages have decreased while divorces have increased, Asiltürk said, "According to TURKSTAT's 2018 marriage statistics statement, the number of marriages decreased from 2.9 percent in 2017 to 553 thousand 202 in 2018. While 128 thousand 411 divorces took place in 2017, this ratio increased by 10.9 percent and reached 142 thousand 448 in 2018. These statistics should be read and perceived as signals about family structure and necessary precautions should be taken within the family and social policies".
HAPPY FAMILY CREATES HEALTHY SOCIETY
Asiltürk, "TurkStat's recent‘ household consumption expenditure ’survey is very striking in terms of revealing the economic bottleneck in the family. Accordingly, by allocating 31.4 percent of household budget for rent and housing, 28.7 percent for food and non-alcoholic beverages and 9.7 percent for low-income households, 69.8 percent of the total family budget and spend on minimum conditions to live. Of course, the negativity of the economic conditions of the family and the peace of the family, deteriorates the happiness. Because a happy family forms a healthy society.
