IDDEF gifted stationery sets containing materials such as bags, notebooks, pencils, erasers and sharpeners, along with clothing aid, to poor students studying in education centers and madrassas in Africa, where the new education period started, and to students trying to receive education in schools in Gaza.
IDDEF made 15,000 students happy in countries such as Guinea, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Somalia, Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Syria in Africa and in the Gaza Strip of Palestine within the scope of the "Be Hope for Students, Be a Pen for Knowledge" education aid project.
“WE HELPED 15,000 BROTHERS IN NEED”
In the statement made by IDDEF regarding the issue, "With the support of our philanthropists, we gift educational sets to our students who receive free education in our madrasahs at the beginning of each academic year. As we start the 2023-2024 academic year, we are making our students in need smile at the beginning of class with the education set. We present school bags and clothes containing materials such as pencils, erasers, notebooks, rulers and sharpeners to our brothers and sisters in the classrooms who were blessed with the support of our philanthropists. Within the scope of our education aid project, we provided aid to 15,000 brothers and sisters in need," it was stated.
“BE A PEN TO KNOWLEDGE”
In the statement, it was stated that approximately 250 million children and young people between the ages of 6-18 in the world live without the opportunity to go to school.
"On our journey with the understanding of people first, education first, we are trying to be a salve to the need for education in geographies around the world where we build education centers and madrassas. As IDDEF, we say that children and young people can receive free education so that education does not stop in Africa, Asia, the Balkans and every geography where humanitarian crises occur," the statement added.
