Based on the Ministry's principle of "education begins in the family", the project draws attention to the increase in parents' action of sharing their children's photos on social media, and aims to examine in depth why families carry out this action, its effects and consequences.
The project aims to raise awareness in the society about digital privacy, to encourage parents and the society to be more careful in all posts about children, and to develop a conscious attitude towards digital privacy.
According to the written statement made by the ministry, protecting family integrity between the ministry and RTÜK; Making the necessary plans to provide all kinds of material, moral and social support to family members and their children in need of protection, assistance and care, the "Cooperation Protocol on the Protection and Strengthening of the Family" will be signed with a ceremony in Istanbul on September 28, in order to prepare and implement training activities and programs.
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy and RTÜK President Ebubekir Şahin, as well as representatives of public institutions and organizations, academicians, sector representatives and non-governmental organizations will attend the ceremony.
Within the scope of the protocol, which will be in force for five years, content will be prepared for the healthy development of children, as well as for the protection of children from all kinds of neglect and abuse, through family-supporting programs that raise awareness about bad habits and addiction problems that threaten the peace and happiness of families.
