AKP will break new ground in agriculture! While "Türkşeker" increased sugar prices by 85 percent to solve the sugar crisis in the market, the import of sugar, which was not imported in the 20-year period, started to be discussed.
According to the information received, it was revealed that there was sugar below the world stock market prices and that a rapid process was being conducted regarding the importation of this sugar.
While the appointment of Vahit Kirişci, who knows the problems of agriculture, as the minister of agriculture gives hope to the sector despite the negative trend in agriculture, the fact that Vahit Kirişci will be granted sugar imports, which no AKP agriculture minister has been granted, will disappoint all positive expectations.
VAHIT KIRISCI WILL GO TO HISTORY AS THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE IMPORTING SUGAR!
According to the information obtained from the Ministry officials, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Agriculture, which could not find a solution to the sugar crisis, found the solution in sugar imports.
It is noted that especially Türkşeker insisted on sugar import and Minister Kirişci was convinced on this issue.
"TÜRKŞEKER" INCREASED SUGAR PRICES BY 85 PERCENT
Türkşeker gave up the wrong price policy it has been implementing for months and increased sugar prices by 85 percent yesterday.
"Türkşeker", which increased the sale price of sugar to the manufacturing companies from 295 TL to 550 TL, increased the shelf-guaranteed sugar prices given to the markets by 30 percent. However, since the sugar, which is sold with a market shelf guarantee, is collected by certain people beforehand, this discount sale does not have much reflection on the citizens. Bringing the price of sugar sold to food companies to the same level as private and cooperative companies is expected to ease the market.
MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE CONFLICT WITH ITSELF
On the other hand, in the statement made to the public last week by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, it was noted that there is no sugar shortage in Turkey and that there is 200 thousand tons of sugar in stocks.
Although the Ministry has declared that there is no sugar problem in Turkey, the fact that the process is carried out with the import of sugar at hand also reveals the insincerity and distortion in the policies implemented.
