Recordings of the events that started on Monday, June 25th are continuing during this week, AGD Chairman Salih Turhan explained the schedule of the summer activities program. AGD President Salih Turhan, "Muslim should live in good morals. Unfortunately, the number of Muslims who do not care about morality and who do not go beyond fanaticism with Islam is increasing rapidly, we should try harder for generations living in a beautiful morality."
Emphasizing that the most beautiful inheritance that parents will leave for their children is good morality, Salih Turhan emphasizes that every individual goes forward with "moral and spirituality" principle, saying: "Moral one is neither willing for his brother nor for his brother. Imam Ghazali says: 'The curved tree does not have the right shadow'. As a result, our children are our lakes. If we are straight, our children will be right, if we have a curvature, we will not be right to expect a correct shadow from that curvature." Turhan stated that the aim of the summer activities is to raise a conscious generation and said, "In Muslim family, the duty of parents is to raise good ethical generations. Morality is that someone first sees everyone as a trust on earth. Our aim in summer events is to raise generations in an effort to take care of all these relics."
Turhan emphasized that only an education system based on reading and memorizing will not be effective. He underlined that learning, production and resting in the process of goodness, goodwill and justice are the necessity of being a human being and that the main tasks of these trainings are to adopt these values to young people. Turhan, "Our younger brothers and sisters both learn to swim, ride, know the historical texture of the city in which we live and also have to be familiar with our common meeting points. We have always adjusted the curriculum of our summer activities," he said.
Underlining that young people are greatly influenced in every sense, Salih Turan commented that the main reason for this is the secularization of Muslim adults and the involvement of young people in different quests. "It can not be denied that the bad effects of bad samples are evident, but it is not a problem in young people who are researching and meeting the right addresses. Their loyalty is growing even more as they understand what Islam is. To live with Islam is to lift a stone on the road, to be a burden to the neighbor, to be useful to people, to not be arrogant, to be humble. Living Islam, knowing that killing an innocent person is like killing all people," he said. Indicating that summer events are of great importance for both young people and the country in the long run, Turhan said, "Our children are valuable for us and summer activities are worth it. It is very easy for them to gather in their hearts and to harm other people. Generations need to be careful about the ants. On the other hand, today the most basic need of this geography is Islam, the brotherhood of Islam," he said.
