Ibrahim has published his interview on his personal Twitter account with the Philippine Foreign Correspondents' Association.
Emphasizing that acceptance of the law is a new milestone in the revolutionary struggle of the Moro people, Ibrahim said, "A large part of our life is dedicated to this struggle. Personally, we are asking if we can split the retirement now, but in the future we will face new challenges. That is why we should make more efforts to make Bangsamoro Law successful." Having said that they agreed that the peace agreement they signed with the government and the autonomy steps taken in this context would be permanent, Abraham announced that they would continue to support the peace process as long as they see progress. "We regard the acceptance of the law as a good beginning, but as MILF, we will continue to consult with our people in this process. Any success can only be possible with the support of the vast majority of our people."
