In the action led by the Jerusalem Council and the Stand Up for Jerusalem Platform, an action was held against the attacks of Zionist Israel by performing a funeral prayer in absentia for the Palestinians who were martyred as a result of Israel's attacks on the anniversary of the Nakba (Great Catastrophe).

After Israel was declared a state on May 14, 1948, Palestinians began to be subjected to regular attacks by Zionist Israel. In this process, NGOs and associations that came together under the name of the Jerusalem Council and the Stand Up for Jerusalem Platform under the leadership of IHH Ankara supported the action, which was carried out for the anniversary of the Nakba (Great Catastrophe), which is the name given to May 15.

PALESTINIANS DO NOT GIVE UP ON RESISTANCE DUE TO ATTACKS

Abdurrahman Çelikel on behalf of the Stand Up Platform for Jerusalem, "Israel has been attacking our Palestinian brothers since 1948. Israel is attacking prayer, prayer and fasting. Despite all these efforts, it is unable to subdue the Palestinian people. The Palestinians continue to resist the attacks of the terrorist state without losing their resistance. With this spirit, of course, as the late Erbakan Hodja said, “One day we will slap Israel like that; The day of its promise that its whole life will pass before their eyes like the Gaza Strip is near," he said.

MASJED AL-AQSA IS THE ETERNAL TEMPLE OF ISLAM

President of the Jerusalem Council Mehmet Fatih Serenli, "We commemorate our martyrs in Palestine and all over the world. According to our belief, martyrs are the companions of the prophets. Fortunately for them, they struggled to preserve the ancient status of Jerusalem. Masjid al-Aqsa is the eternal temple of Islam and cannot be changed. We declare that we will defend the Masjid al-Aqsa in any way. Let's defend the freedom of Jerusalem and Palestine every day, not just on certain days, as we shout today for the freedom of Jerusalem and Palestine," he said.
