In the weekly group meetings of the parties, CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli reacted to the US President Joe Biden's saying the 1915 events were genocide, especially the total closure.
"EXECUTIVE FILES MUST BE STOPPED"
CHP Chairman Kılıçdaroğlu pointed out that the social support package should be announced as soon as possible with the complete closure and stated that the enforcement follow-up files should be stopped during the complete closure process.
Referring to the US President Biden's saying "genocide" regarding the 1915 events, Kılıçdaroğlu criticized the government through foreign policy, "Why has it defined the events of 1915 since the founding of Turkey, when no president in America has recognized them as genocide? This question is important. This is the question to be asked. There is no problem to be angry with Biden, he is doing what is necessary for his own internal policy. What is the foreign policy of the Republic of Turkey?" he asked.
"STILL NO EXPLANATION ABOUT 128 BILLION DOLLARS"
Referring to the debate on the fate of 128 billion dollars allegedly sold by the Central Bank, Kılıçdaroğlu, "It means that the state does not even have a dollar of its own in the Central Bank. If a country does not even have a dollar of its own in its safe, it is not only me, but everyone sees it. What does a researcher say; "If Turkey goes to war today, everybody knows that it does not even have a dollar in its safe." When we say where 128 billion dollars are, we defend Turkey's reputation. To whom was 128 billion dollars cashed? Still no explanation," he said.
"24 APRIL USED AS PRESSURE"
MHP Chairman Bahçeli, on the other hand, reacted to US President Joe Biden's statement of so-called genocide and emphasized that there was no genocide. Bahçeli, "The date of April 24, which has been transformed into a tool of pressure and imposition on Turkey for years, is one day after April 23 for us. It is an ordinary day. We will not contradict our history. We will always stop with the dispatch and settlement law that was decided on May 27, 1915 and put into effect on June 1, 1915. Making history a subject of political abuse is disrespectful to what happened. When it comes to the events of 1915, our nation's face is white and its brows are wide open," he said.
