Since 2016, February 10 has been celebrated as "World Pulses Day" by the United Nations (UN) Food and Agriculture Organization.
Celebrated in 2022 with the theme of "Nutritious Seeds for a Sustainable Future", February 10 World Pulses Day is also on the agenda in our country with various activities.
Reis Food, the leading company in the sector of pulses products, which are indispensable for Turkish cuisine, issued a press release on the occasion of February 10, World Pulses Day.
In the press release published on behalf of Reis Food Board Member Işılay Reis Yorgun, attention was drawn to the importance of the pulses in sustainable agriculture.
