Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, who made statements after his closed-door meeting with the party leaders in Sweden, turned on the reactions in the Islamic world.

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson stated that the recent anti-Islamic actions in the country have complicated the security of the country.

"We have seen how this can have risky and major consequences for Sweden's image in the world and for the safety of Swedes abroad," he said.

“WE BURN OURSELVES”

Expressing that it is obvious how complicated the events have made Sweden's security, Kristersson said, "We saw the burning of the Holy Quran in front of the Turkish Embassy in Stockholm. Despite being legal in Sweden for the past few weeks, actions by small groups and individuals have turned into a disinformation campaign. He portrayed Sweden as an Islamophobic country."

According to Kristersson, those who take action are "useful idiot"

KrIstersson stated that the actions in question benefited the anti-Swedish people and described those who carried out these actions as “useful idiots”.

Stressing that Sweden's application for NATO membership is important, Kristersson said, "Sweden faces the most important security risks after World War II. Parties have different opinions on NATO. With the approval of Sweden's application by 28 NATO countries, we have become more secure, but we should not ignore that we are not a NATO member yet."
