It has been stated that senior church officials in Pennsylvania and the Vatican cover up the events "systematically" regarding the emergence of US sexual abuse of more than thousand children by Catholic priests in the state of Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania Chief Prosecutor Josh Shapiro used a statement on his NBC television show, "We have proof that the Vatican knows that the sexual abuse of the church is covered up". Shapiro said, "I do not know if the Vatican is informed of the Pope when he learns it," he said, noting what kind of evidence he had reached later on CNN's statement. Shapiro pointed out that it was a special purpose to cover up the matter, "It was not just a concealment made to hide from the congregation or the church. At the same time, they were fired to escape from legal sanctions, so lawyers like me would not be able to blame them for the crimes they committed."
Shapiro added that after a two-year inquiry, more than 730 calls were made to the call line they had made after explaining that sexual abuse of children had reached the conclusion that they were "systematically" covered in senior church officials in Pennsylvania and the Vatican.
The investigation jury accused more than 300 mothers of abuse of children since the middle of the 1950s, claiming that more than hundred babies of the Roman Catholic Church were involved in sexual abuse. The jury noted that some of the recordings were lost in the report and that some of the victims of sexual abuse were afraid to talk, so the number of those who suffered was much higher.
Noting that the majority of the victims were male children, the jury had stated that they were involved in all kinds of sexual harassment, ranging from rape to rape.
