Teachers working in the private sector continue to work for a while despite many problems. The problems continue to increase day by day. While teachers continue to work with problems such as low wages, under-insurance and mobbing, institutions continue to not give teachers their due instead of finding solutions to problems. The common point in the action where teachers from all over Turkey came together was the call for the solution of the problems. Despite the last minimum wage increase, the teachers working in some institutions were unlawfully subject to a wage below the minimum wage, while an action was called for the return of the base salary application against this victimization. It was noted that the loss of rights could be prevented by bringing back the base salary application that was applied in the past.
TEACHERS ARE UNEMPLOYED IN THE SUMMER
In addition to the lack of wages, which is one of the main problems of teachers working in the private sector, teachers face many problems. It was stated in the action that the illegal practices of some employers also caused an increase in the size of the victimization. Reminding that there are teachers who were forced to resign at the beginning of the summer months despite the 12-month contract obligation to which teachers working in private institutions are legally entitled, it was pointed out that the teachers were unemployed during the summer months.
