Teams are responding to the forest fire that started near the Kayadere village of Çanakkale center from the air and from the land.

Due to the forest fire in Çanakkale, the Çanakkale-Çan highway was closed to transportation. A fire broke out in the forest area near the Kayadere village of the center for an unknown reason.
 
After the notification of the situation, many teams were sent to the region by the Çanakkale Regional Directorate of Forestry.
 
Gendarmerie teams also came to the scene. The teams started working from the air and land to control the flames that grew with the effect of the wind.
 
In the region where some animals were affected by the fire, work is carried out under the supervision of gendarmerie teams to evacuate citizens from Kayadere village.

Çanakkale Governor İlhami Aktaş made investigations in Kayadere village and received information from the authorities.
 
Aktaş told reporters that they had decided to evacuate the village as a precaution.
 
Aktaş stated that they will host the people living in the village in Terzioğlu Dormitory in the city center.
 
"It is very important for our citizens to be careful in terms of their own property and life safety," Aktaş said.
 
Governor Aktaş stated that there is no danger in the surrounding villages at the moment, but the wind is effective.
 
For this reason, Aktaş stated that they took precautions.
 
"It is important that our citizens in our villages near the fire scene in the center of Çanakkale, close to our Kayadere village, be vigilant and careful. In terms of life and property safety and traffic safety, we have temporarily closed the Çan-Çanakkale road to traffic. It is important for our citizens who will use the road to use alternative routes," Aktaş added.
